Kyamba Summer

Summer is a small warmblood cross whom we bred in 2005, she is out of our Welsh Cob mare who was by Wingana Parc Gaffer, both looks and nature of the welsh cob are very prominent in Summer. Elouera Quixote is the stallion we chose and we could not have been happier with the cross so happy in fact that we used Quixote 3 more time to produce 3 lovely types. The athletic nature of the Oldenburg was an obvious choice for our mare and the fact that he was locally owned was a bonus. Summer is a fantastic all rounder, she is perfect for beginners, is sure footed and very safe on trails as well as bold and forward enough to love her jumping and hunting. This is the most popular horse in the stable and our go to horse when looking for an enjoyable easy ride, at the same time she is well educated and very satisfying to ride if you are wishing to tune up on our lateral work/skills.

Summer has competed in unofficial dressage where she consistently scores in the mid to high 60’s, she will also hold her own in the show and or hunter ring. However due to her height is not really a stand out in the breed class, instead she would prefer a show jumping round or even a cross country gallop over some fences.
