Meet Flossy!

Flossy is  16 yo Australian Warmblood Mare by  the Donnerhall son  Don Schufro, who was world number 1 dressage sire for several years (still in top 10 in 2017). Her dam was ‘Belcam Golden’ by Grannus II from a thoroughbred mare.  Owned and educated by Keith Smettem who has kindly let Kyamba Lodge use in our leasing program, Flossy has been to many clinics and shows and is consistently reliable, taking everything in her stride. She loves carrots but not apples or sugar (go figure…).

Flossy was a breeze to start under saddle and the most trustworthy ride one could imagine, she has competed consistently at official novice (scoring in the 60s) just last season after she had a very long break away from routine and regular work due to her owner heavy travel and work commitments. If you are wanting to have a feel of riding a large moving obedient horse without the fear of a confronting forward movement this is the perfect horse for you to begin on.
